A Werkspot alternative for small jobs
Werkspot is made for tradespeople and bigger jobs. For a wardrobe, the garden, a clean or a few hours of carrying, a handy neighbour or student is often enough.
Below you see how Werkspot, Zoofy, Klusup, Helprr, Trustoo and KlusjeBij work, what you pay and when which one is the best choice. Even when that isn't KlusjeBij. Compared honestly, checked on 12 October 2026.
Free to post, no commission. You pay the helper directly.

When to choose which?
The rule of thumb: the bigger the risk or the knowledge needed, the more you get from a tradesperson with a guarantee.
Werkspot or Trustoo
For a bigger job where you want to compare quotes from companies, such as a bathroom, painting or a roof repair.
Zoofy or Klusup
If you want to book a tradesperson quickly at a fixed price or fixed hourly rate, with a guarantee scheme. Think of a leaking tap, a socket or a lamp that has to be fixed to the ceiling.
Helprr
If you are looking for someone from your area, but want the payment to go through the website and only be released when the job is done. You pay a 5% service fee for that.
KlusjeBij
For small, simple jobs where a handy neighbour or student is enough: assembling a wardrobe, trimming the hedge, cleaning windows, carrying boxes. You choose, agree the price yourself and pay nothing extra.
Always a certified professional
Work on gas, electrics in the meter cupboard, central heating boilers and water pipes is for a professional, not for a neighbour. For that, Werkspot, Zoofy, Klusup and Trustoo are the better choice.
The websites briefly explained
Werkspot
Werkspot is the best-known website for finding tradespeople in the Netherlands. You describe your job and Werkspot forwards it to tradespeople in your area. They introduce themselves and give a guide price where possible. You choose who you go ahead with. Posting is free and without obligation.
All tradespeople are registered with the KvK and agree to house rules. The tradesperson pays lead fees at the moment you share your contact details with them. For a renovation or specialist work that is a logical route. For a one-hour job the offer is often bigger than needed.
Zoofy
With Zoofy you book a tradesperson directly, without quotes. There are jobs with a fixed price and jobs with an hourly rate, and you pay no call-out fee. Zoofy works with self-employed specialists and small trade companies registered with the KvK.
You pay Zoofy after the job. A €24.95 service fee per job is added, unless you take Premium for €49.95 per year. Installation and assembly come with two months' guarantee. With the €9.95 guarantee package Zoofy arranges repair up to a maximum of €1,000 per booking. Zoofy gives an average rate of €65 per hour for a handyman.
Klusup
Klusup also works with direct booking. You pay per hour, at least one hour and then per quarter hour, without a call-out fee. You pay after completion through Klusup.
For specialist work such as a plumber or electrician, Klusup works with companies registered with the KvK and with liability insurance. For simple jobs and garden work, private individuals with work experience and liability insurance can also get started. Tradespeople pay no subscription or lead fees, but do pay a booking fee per completed job.
Helprr
Helprr is the most similar to KlusjeBij: you post a job for free and helpers from the area make a bid. Helprr checks helpers with an ID check and shows reviews.
The difference is the payment. With Helprr you pay in advance through the website and Helprr releases the money when you confirm the job is done. You pay a 5% service fee on top of the bid, and the helper also gives up 5%. According to its terms, Helprr is not a party to the agreement between you and the helper.
Trustoo
Trustoo is a comparison site for local companies. You send your request for free to up to four companies and get quotes without obligation. Trustoo charges no commission and doesn't get involved in the price.
Companies pay per quote request, at a price that differs per sector. Like Werkspot, Trustoo is mostly useful if you want to compare several companies.
KlusjeBij
On KlusjeBij it is not companies that reply, but neighbours and students. You post a job for free, read the replies and profiles, and choose yourself. You agree the price together, per hour or as a fixed amount. You pay the helper directly. KlusjeBij charges no commission, no subscription and no lead fees.
There are downsides too. Helpers are private individuals, not tradespeople. KlusjeBij offers no guarantee and no insurance. And the website is small: most helpers are in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Utrecht and The Hague, elsewhere it can take a long time before someone replies.
